This product contains Level Two Practice Papers (5 to 8).

Level Two practice papers are designed to follow on from the Level One practice papers. The questions become more challenging than those in Level One, but they are not as difficult or detailed as the questions in the Level Three papers, which closely resemble the actual exam. The format of these Level Two papers is as follows:

Literacy

• > 5 punctuation questions
• > 5 grammar questions
• > 5 spelling questions
• > A longer comprehension passage followed by 5 multiple-choice questions and 3 free-response questions.

Numeracy 

• > 18 multiple-choice questions
• > 5 free-response questions

The difficulty level of these questions, particularly in numeracy, is appropriate for Primary 6 pupils from Feb onwards. While pupils should aim to complete the paper within 50 minutes, timing should not be a priority at this stage. Therefore, it is recommended that the test be completed without a time limit.
