• The Parts of Speech Exercise involves identifying the part of speech for underlined words in sentences related to plastic pollution.
• The mathematical exercises present real-world scenarios related to Earth Day, such as calculating the area of a garden section dedicated to wildflowers, estimating the total weight of rubbish on a beach, and determining the number of trees planted in a park. These activities not only reinforce mathematical concepts but also highlight the importance of environmental stewardship and sustainability.
• Additionally, the multiple-choice questions further assess students’ mathematical skills, covering topics such as square numbers, units of measure, time, perimeter, and multiplication.
