This product contains Level One Practice Papers (1 to 4).

Level One SEAG practice papers have been designed to familiarise pupils with the testing process. The format of these Level One papers is as follows:

Literacy

• > Five punctuation questions
• > Five grammar questions
• > Five spelling questions
• > A short comprehension passage followed by three multiple-choice questions and two free-response questions.

Numeracy 

• > Fifteen multiple-choice questions
• > Five free-response questions

The difficulty level of these questions, particularly in numeracy, is appropriate for Primary 6 pupils from January onwards. While pupils should aim to complete the paper within 40 minutes, timing should not be a priority at this stage. Therefore, it is recommended that the test be completed without a time limit.
